I've got a money problem ever since the skillcost increase. I just can't keep up with it. All my farming spots have been nerfed into nothingness and i now really got no clue where to go or what to do.
It looks like the only way for me to get money is to clear the underworld and try selling the one or two ectos i get while doing so. Funny isn't it? When things were uber expensive it was a nightmare to trade with greedy players. Now as those things quickly and swiftly drop in value (what basically is a good thing) i'm however no longer able to keep up with the Skillcosts now.
It went from one extreme into another.
From uber expensive too insanely poor.

I agree.

I did start this post regarding Keys and closed it because theres already a post on the keys. But I will agree its gone from one extreme to another. I have stopped buying them as the markets flooded with 15>50 perfect sundering weapons that are failing to reach the cost of the key now.

And I hate to say it but its made the game rather dull now. Once completed on the PVE side theres not alot else to do Searching for that ultimate item isnt worth the time when you can now buy it for a few hundred Gold.

Time to hang up my Truncheon and go find a new game till part 2 comes out in 2006

I'm saving my titan quests until i'm bored, that way i will have something new and exciting reserved for me.
I still have lots of polishing to do on some characters like getting the last few warrior elites on my warrior.
Yesterday i got my last monk elite on my first monk which i made months ago even though i capped them all on my second monk within a week of making it (lol confused myself there

)

I still have some older quests for when i'm desperately bored but for now i'm happy.

I too have stopped buying keys. After the update, my account dropped 200k from keys, outfitting my chars with superior kits and the dwarven ale party i threw while running to the new zones from Rankor.
It's slowly accumulating again.

Didnt anyone hear that they were increasing the cost of getting skills before the update? I pretty much have every skill with each of my four char slots, this will keep me good for new ones or the ones i may have missed and want to get.

i just used 8 shiverpeak keys from rankor to beacons perch with henchies :|
i got some shit stuff but i made around 4k from loot and got a few gold req8 swords and hammers

i luv the key thing its such a gamble and makes me wanna do it more and more

I'm pissed because keys do not drop more, I have gotten one key, admittedly I run with henchmen, but, I see no one else using them when Ihave grouped up, to the extent that it is really going to become necessary to buy them, not just a gamble.

Plus, I'm on the side of hating that huge cost up for skills, sadly I did sort of miss that as Iwas not playing at the time and just checked back to see SF coming in, but also, why are SoCs that much cheaper? Anyway, annoying to me to have such a huge cost after gaining experience, both occur at the same time, but one happens because you work aka grind, the other happens because you got lucky and made a good deal with agood drop that you actually got. Me, I can't afford to really buy those skills without expending so many resources that I wanted to use to get a green weapon to avoid looking for all of the other perfects out there.
